Schoolhouse Tunic

I whipped this one up last night (and would have finished it then if the overlocker hadn't had a spack attack, and I needed to re thread and finish it off this morning)

I also didn't think to have the child photographer take a snap whilst I was wearing it all day,
no, I'll wait till I'm in my jarmies and have to stick it on Fem-Bot.

But you get the picture.
Pattern here
Fabric from here.

I have that pattern and I love it. Have you made the shirt version? I found it a bit blousy for me, but it could have been the fabric.
Now a question... At the oppy there was an adjustable manequin for a bargain, but not that much that I had to buy it straight away. However, it seemed quite flimsy in that the body pieces were made from quite thin plastic with a felty type fabric over. Is yours more substantial?

I have to reply here, nicp42, as I can email back directly to you.
My mannequin is from Lincraft, the cehapest of the lot, and is plastic covered by felt, very thin but very light! I haven't had any trouble with it, I think it was $179 on sale. If I were you I'd buy a 2nd hand one, they really don't have to be too tough, they don't move anywhere!
