Saturday's stuff

I had a lovely morning at the Made N Thornbury market, saying howdy to Curlypops, Tinniegirl, Bev and Nikki, among others. Had an interesting afternoon, but managed to make this quick item, more as an experiment. After seeing one in a mag, my friend and I thought it could be done, and despite a little glue around the edges (soon to be disguised with ribbon, I think it looks pretty damn hot! My friend's been told to make her own haha. The little purple dots are the magnets, by the way, so it is a magnetic notice board, vintage style. Voila!

My ironing board cover is coming along, despite the walking fault making a disaster of the quilting. A bit of unpicking to be done tonight. Am going out of my mind looking for those little clips attached to elastic that seem like a quick way to fit it to me- alas, no where in site.

This little book came home with me the other day, so good! I love all the pictures alongside the patterns, lots of bits and pieces in them, crafty related of course. I still have my Hobbytex pillowcase my mum made when I was a baby!

I'm loving that magnetic board idea.... mind if I steal it...? The idea, that is - not the board.

Lovely to see you today!
