Happy Movember!

I was so sad about Blogtober ending I forgot to post on the last day! Arghh! It was so fun, and I'm sure I don't need to hyperlink to Cam and Cathy for the organising, we say a big THANK YOU!!
After bitching and moaning about not winning anything, I came home yesterday to an email from this girl, who is not only the busiest woman I ever heard of, but is organising a vintage sheet swap I had to be in on too. Go over and visit, it will be ace!
So here comes today's adventure- a gloomy day in Melbourne, so a car trip was required. Hmm, have to go to Castlemaine anyway, surely we could go via Dayelsford? After driving through a pea-souper.....

we cooked our little butts off with 30 degrees 'over the mountains'. Hence the visor shot!

So great to meet Alison, and I got a blogger's gift! Just for saying hi! Gosh, so much great stuff, I came away with this little treasure....

no, not JUST the child, but a little love heart from this crafty mumma. Little Miss likes that we both share a name! It is tucked up under her chin in bed at the moment, as she is snoring away.
I can't wait to meet her say hi in person at the
market.

A little present to me...shhh, I know I don't need more craft books, but I have the first one, and as Forrest would say 'like peas and carrots'. As in, you can't have one without the other, right? So now I can Make and Sew. BTW, first glance has shown me the Sew is even better than Make, so I'm happy. And the free bag to sew together is a bonus.

And the best bit? I mean, the icing on the cake? Vinnies. Open. On. A. Sunday. Stay tuned for part 2 of "What I Bought In Vinnies On A Sunday in Daylesford".

Note: despite the title of this post, I have decided not to participate in Movember, despite being told a while ago I needed a lip wax (thanks for that!) I will eagerly watch from the sidelines as the boys compete as to who's is bigger, better etc, basically have a pissing contest and raise money for a great cause.
